Coolants (heat carriers) STATERM
Refractometer is an optical tool designed to measure refractive index. The refractometer has five easy-to-read scales. Suitable for outdoor use to measure concentrations of STATERM, ADBLUE and window washer fluid.
Refractometer measuring is based on the principle that when the concentration or density changes, the refractive index changes proportionally. The angle of refraction is visible on the scale. The higher the concentration of the heat carrier (coolant), the higher the measurement showed on the scale.
Scales:
- STATERM - heat carriers for heating systems based on ethylene glycol.
- STATERM EKO - propylene glycol based heat carriers.
- STATERM S - special heat carrier for outdoor circuits of heat pumps.
- ADBLUE - liquid for exhaust gas purification.
- Window washer fluid.
